Armadillo Tex GmbH sets new standards in safety and wearing comfort with its innovative stab-proof vests. Inspired by the natural protection structure of the armadillo, the unique Armadillo Tex technology offers an advanced material solution. While conventional stab-proof vests often rely on heavy and inflexible metal plates, Armadillo Tex uses a bionic scale structure.

This structure not only ensures maximum freedom of movement but also provides effective stab protection. Stab-proof vests made from multilayer Kevlar fabrics are often not breathable and can significantly reduce wearing comfort during higher temperatures or extended periods of use. Other manufacturers rely on chainmail, which is heavy and still does not offer sufficient protection against pointed objects such as needles.

Armadillo Tex therefore uses an innovative scale structure that also prevents the penetration of fine stabbing weapons. For our stab-proof vests, we use only high-quality materials such as carbon fibers, aramid and specialized industrial yarns. This combination ensures high stab protection while maintaining low weight, high flexibility, breathability and long-lasting wearing comfort.

A clear advantage over traditional stab-proof vests is the significantly larger coverage area. While many conventional models protect only a small portion of the upper body, Armadillo Tex stab-proof vests provide comprehensive protection for the front and back, with optional side protection.
